Upcycling the knitwear industry waste

The goal of this project was to find ways to redesign the product "Kapukas" to production level. We started with a local Estonian knitwear manufacturer that produces primarily for the Nordic market, working with solid wool yarns. For product development, we used the already cut pieces left in the warehouse. However, this model can easily be added to the cutting phase, collecting the parts needed for the sidelines at the same time as the main production.
